BASIC SKILLS BASIC SKILLS…..was the outcry from Rudy Joubert way back in …….. at the time Rudy was the Head Coach at Boland Rugby Union and had also assisted Kitch Christie with the Springboks as their technical adviser. On his departure to Wales, where he would take on the Directorship of Rugby, Rudy handed over the then called ‘Toekoms Rugby’ Skills programme to Manny Senger. Rudy was adamant that any school or club that wanted their rugby to develop and be successful needed to separate skills coaching from the normal weekly team coaching to a session where the focus should soley be on skills development.

Manny Senger then started FUTURE RUGBY and CRICKET in August 2002. The main objective then and still now was the obsessive focus on basic skills coaching. Our successes have been proven over and over throughout the years that when one focuses on the FUNdamentals of sport and the development of skills that the results would be monumental. We have already seen over 6000 kids pass through our programmes with many success stories. Our success are measure daily by how our young sportsmen and woman display their enjoyment while attending our sessions. Development takes place in a friendly fun environment where all players no matter their level, strive and prosper while taking part in sport.

Future Hockey and Netball has since been added to our skills coaching toolbox, where we are experiencing a massive growth in numbers and interest among the youth……….
